Ronkonkoma, NY—Sigma Corporation of America revealed the eight winners of the Sigma America 60th Anniversary Student Scholarship contest. Each student will receive a $7,500 scholarship. Sigma Corporation of America is the U.S. subsidiary of Sigma Corporation, whose CEO is Kazuto Yamaki.

“Witnessing the creativity, passion and prescient interpretations of the core principles of Sigma by the collegiate entrants of the 60th Anniversary Scholarship contest highlights the bright future for creative expression and our industry,” commented Mark Amir-Hamzeh, president of Sigma Corporation of America.

Sigma America 60th Anniversary Scholarship

The $60,000 in scholarship money was awarded to student photographers as well as filmmakers in four categories. Each aligns with the core principles of the company. Those four core principles upon which the contestants were asked to draw their creative inspiration are: Authenticity, Precision, Inspiration, as well as Honor. Authenticity

Precision
