It has now been six months since we decided to bring our publication 100% digital online. It wasn’t an easy decision after printing our magazine for more than 30 years. However, our readers were telling us that reaching them daily with online news was more effective than printing a magazine once every two months. Well, the verdict is in. Our online experiment is working!

We are pleased to say that we are expanding our reader base exponentially. Our site traffic has increased 46 percent over the last three months (versus the three prior months). In addition, our Instagram followers are now close to 5,300. That number has more than doubled since March. Further, more people are opening our e-mails (up 58 percent) as well as clicking through (up 48 percent).

Simply put, we are reaching more people and we are seeing significant engagement with our readers.

Why? Because we are posting to Instagram, Facebook and direporter.com EVERY DAY with news that keeps you up to date in the imaging industry. Be sure to follow our Instagram page to see the hottest news of the day, including reels and stories from manufacturers and dealers alike.

If you haven’t signed up for our newsletter, you can do so at DIReporter.com (at the bottom of the homepage). And if there are things we can do better, please let us know. We’ve always been here to serve the imaging industry.

I hope you enjoy our State of the Industry issue.Jerry-Grossman-Signature
