Canon USA President & CEO Named to 60 Most Influential Long Islanders List

Melville, NY—The Long Island Business News has recognized Canon USA President and CEO Kazuto “Kevin” Ogawa. The publication named Ogawa to its 60 Most Influential Long Islanders of 2023 list.

The prestigious list encompasses honorees from a variety of industries. The publication deemed each one has had an impact on the Long Island community in a profound way. The honorees are drawn from sectors including business, education, medicine, transportation, media, real estate as well as government. Furthermore, Ogawa was among a select group cited by LIBN. This special honor goes to those who have the ability to lead during challenging circumstances while demonstrating character, creativity and compassion to inspire others.

Kazuto Ogawa has been a mainstay at Canon for more than 40 years. What’s more, he first started his career with the parent company Canon Inc. in 1981. In addition, he has held various positions with Canon Hong Kong and Canon China. He has also served as president and chief executive officer at one time of both Canon Singapore and Canon Canada. Moreover, he was elected a managing executive officer of Canon Inc. in 2016.

Subsequently, Ogawa was selected as president and chief operating officer of Canon USA in 2018. He assumed his current position at Canon USA in April 2020. Further, he was promoted to senior managing executive officer of Canon Inc. in April 2021.
