The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced the CES 2020 Innovation Honorees. The CES Innovation Awards program is an annual competition honoring outstanding design as well as engineering in consumer technology products across 28 product categories.
A panel of industry experts judged submissions based on engineering qualities, aesthetic and design, functionality as well as consumer appeal. In addition, products recognized as Best of Innovation are given to those rating among the highest in each product category, or to multiple, in the event of a tie. However, a Best of Innovation designation is not guaranteed in each product category.
The CES Innovation Awards program is open to any individual, organization or authorized agent who manufactures, designs, engineers or promotes consumer technology products marketed in the United States. Moreover, for the CES 2020 awards, products must be available for sale to the public for the first time in the U.S. between April 1, 2019 and April 1, 2020.
The full list of Best of Innovation and Honorees were revealed prior to CES 2020. Honorees are showcasing their winning products in the Innovation Awards Showcase at CES 2020.
Owned and produced by CTA, CES 2020 runs January 7–10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event provides access to the most transformative tech across various marketplaces, such as artificial intelligence, augmented and virtual reality, smart home, vehicles, digital health and more.

Human Capable Norm Glasses
These everyday AR (augmented reality) smart glasses appear indistinguishable from normal sunglasses. However, they feature an Android-based OS; a camera; a voice user interface; dual speakers; and a head-up display. The display shows digital content in the user’s field of view. Furthermore, weighing less than 2 ounces, Norm Glasses fold normally when not in use and store in a standard carrying case.
Moreover, they support all common lenses, including prescription lenses, photochromic lenses and polarized lenses. Lenses can be changed by a local optometrist. In addition, the glasses pair via Bluetooth with Android or iOS smartphones, enabling people to interact with the digital world hands free.
Insta360 Go
This less-than-an-ounce tiny stabilized camera from Insta360 mounts anywhere. The Go uses its innovative form factor and AI-powered smart editing to help make capturing life effortless.
Smaller than a thumb, it can capture angles other cameras don’t. When worn, the Go permits seamless, hands-free shooting. However, it is more than a wearable. A magnetic body, plus a range of accessories, means the camera is ready to clip, tag or hang on just about anything.
Insta360 Titan
Dubbed the Boeing 747 of virtual reality cameras, it’s built for cinematic VR. The Titan from Ista360 captures both immersive 360º photos and video, reaching a breathtaking 11K resolution for lifelike VR experiences.

The BLK247 from Leica Geosystems is a reality capture sensor for building security and operations. It offers
continuous, 24/7 LiDAR-based 3D monitoring and change detection within spaces. It uses LiDAR, 3D digital fencing and continuous scanning to monitor spaces 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Designed with situational awareness, the BLK247 is capable of differentiating between still and moving objects. Moreover, since it is an intelligent device, it can alert appropriate staff of physical changes within a space. l
Litra LitraStudio
Litra‘s LitraStudio is a mobile RGBWW photo and video light. It delivers professional, studio quality color lighting in any location, including rugged environments. Able to fit in a hand, the light provides up to 3000 lumen of continuous light; 6000 lumen of flash; and 97 CRI/TLCI quality light. In addition, it produces millions of custom and programmed color combinations. Users operate the light in several use modes: CCT (warm to cool); HSI (color wheel); RGBWW (precise color coordinates); gel presets; user defined presets; and effects.
