Woodbury, NY—The PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association (PMDA) will honor four industry notables at their annual Imaging Night, held the night prior to the opening of CES 2016.
The event, at The Foundry Hall in the SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, will honor Matt Sweetwood, former president of Unique Photo; Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist John H. White; Eyefi cofounder Berend Ozceri; and adventure photographer Chris Burkard. In addition, Popular Photography magazine will be announcing the winner of their coveted Camera of the Year award at the event.
“Historically, this event has been the kickoff to CES, while at the same time shining the light on the imaging industry,” said Jim Malcolm, president of PMDA. “It’s always been a great night of networking, socializing and coming together to pay homage to those in the industry who have made a difference.”
Sponsors of this year’s event include National Geographic, the Consumer Technology Association, Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic and Fujifilm.
Tickets for Imaging Night are $295 per seat, and tables of 10 are available for $2,500. The evening includes cocktails, dinner, networking, entertainment and the awards presentations.
