Lucie Foundation 2019 Scholarship Recipients Named

Los Angeles, CA—The Lucie Foundation supports emerging and established talent with dynamic ideas that challenge and also progress the art form of still photography into work that compels. As a result, it offers several scholarship programs. The Lucie Foundation 2019 scholarship recipients in the various categories were announced.

3,000 ChromaLuxe X Lucie Foundation Fine Art Scholarship

ChromaLuxe, a brand of print media, offers a scholarship through the Lucie Foundation in support of fine art photographers. This scholarship was open to emerging as well as established artists. Moreover, this year’s recipient is Monica Alcazar-Duarte of the United Kingdom.

2,500 Emerging Artist Scholarship

This scholarship is open to all genres of photographic work. Furthermore, it is given to an individual to create or continue work on a specific dynamic project. The scholarship goes to Laurence Philomene of Canada.

In addition, the foundation grants this scholarship to an individual to create or continue a project focused on creating a story through a conceptual fine art approach. The recipient is Madeleine Morlet of the United States.
