Madrid, Spain—The TIPA World Awards presentation took place Friday, October 14, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. CEST on the Photopia stage in Hall A4. The ceremony occurs during the four-day festival of imaging in Hamburg, Germany.

Those interested could view the event via a livestream feed. Moreover, the presentation ceremony was hosted by TIPA chairman Thomas Gerwers. 
The event featured presentations of the TIPA World Award trophies to winners of the TIPA 2022 World Awards. Company representatives were also be in attendance on the livestream feed. The organization granted access to a worldwide audience via a video link.
This marked the second year of an exclusive partnership between TIPA and the Hamburg Messe and Congress for hosting the TIPA World Awards presentation at Photopia. The four-day celebration of imaging is held at both the Hamburg Messe exhibition campus and throughout the city of Hamburg. 
Along with cameras and lenses that cover every category, from entry level to expert to professional, TIPA Award winners represent the wide range of products and services that make up the imaging industry today. What’s more the awards cover 40 categories. They include inkjet papers, imaging software, storage media, monitors, video cameras and accessories.
The live event streamed so that those who could not make the journey could participate. In addition, TIPA will make a video of the event available on its website.

The Technical Image Press Association (TIPA) is an organization comprised of editors and representatives of photographic magazines from North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Spanning the consumer, professional and trade sectors, member magazines are dedicated to bringing the message of the joy of photography. They also provide technical, business and industry news and information to their readers.
TIPA also provides key information about the photo industry. In addition, it does in-depth testing of photographic equipment and initiates technical and exploratory discussions with imaging companies.
