CTA 2024 Executive Board and Board of Industry Leaders Elected

Arlington, VA—The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced the election of the CTA 2024 Executive Board and Board of Industry Leaders (BIL). The executive board (EB) is CTA’s governing board. Moreover, the BIL is a select group of industry executives who advise on CTA policies and events, including CES.

“We are thrilled to welcome some of the technology sector’s most innovative and impactful leaders to CTA’s Executive Board and Board of Industry Leaders,” said Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of CTA. “Our new board members and the organizations they represent are delivering products and services loved by millions and advancing innovations that improve the lives of people around the globe.”

Further, Deena Ghazarian will serve as the EB chair. A business executive with 25+ years of experience driving top consumer technology and fashion brands, Ghazarian is CEO of Austere. She is also a managing partner at TargetPath LLC. What’s more, Ghazarian has sat on CTA’s Executive Board for more than six years. She is also a founding member of CTA’s Diversity Investment Committee.

Additionally, Steve Downer, vice president of Consumer Electronics at Amazon, will serve as vice-chair. Downer also served on CTA’s BIL for three years, beginning in 2018, before joining the EB in 2021.
