From amazing athletic feats and awe-inspiring shots to everyday moments captured in unique perspectives, the Million Dollar Challenge will feature the creativity and ingenuity of the GoPro community for the fifth time.

The Million Dollar Challenge tasks GoPro users around the world with capturing the most unique GoPro footage possible. The company will feature winning submissions in an exclusive highlight reel. The winning entrants will also earn an equal share of $1 million. Selected content can also garner GoPro gear and/or exposure on GoPro social channels.

The company is asking all Hero11 users to capture and submit their video clips for consideration to the Million Dollar Challenge on GoPro.com/MillionDollarChallenge. In addition, starting this year, entrants can submit videos using the GoPro Quik app.

Submissions close April 2 at 11:59 p.m. PT. What’s more, GoPro will release the final Hero11 Black + Mini Million Dollar Challenge highlight reel later that month. First-time entrants will learn whose video clips were chosen and who will get an equal share of $1 million when the video premieres.

GoPro will also host a live Q&A on February 9 with GoPro editors and former Million Dollar Challenge awardees. They will share tips and tricks for getting the million-dollar shot.

To submit via the GoPro Quik app, users on iOS and Android can sign into their GoPro accounts, select a photo or video, hit the “share” icon and choose “Submit to GoPro Awards.” From there, they will see the GoPro Awards submission flow to select a challenge, input relevant information and submit.
