Canon Professional Services Adds Platinum Next-Day Service

Melville, NY—Canon USA continues its mission to deliver industry-leading speed and quality of service offered through Canon Professional Services (CPS). The service and support program caters to professional photographers. Newly added is Platinum next-day service.

CPS Platinum members can now enjoy next-day service, with equipment serviced and shipped the business day after an estimate is approved. For repairs that will take longer, Canon will offer next-day loaner equipment. In addition, CPS Gold members’ benefits will now be enhanced with two-day service turnaround. Platinum Next-Day Service Launches at PhotoPlus Expo

The next-day service officially launched at PhotoPlus Expo 2017 in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, held October 26–28, 2017. At the expo, Canon USA showcased its latest digital imaging products for photographers of all skill levels. The company also hosted educational seminars from its booth.

CPS-LoungeIn addition, Canon Professional Services again held its CPS Lounge. At the lounge, Platinum, Gold and also Cinema CPS members could have their Canon equipment cleaned and checked during expo hours. Furthermore, in the Canon booth, show attendees could observe factory-trained technicians performing Canon maintenance service.

Also at the booth was the trade show debut of the brand-new Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark III. It is the first PowerShot point-and-shoot compact camera to feature an APS-C CMOS sensor and Canon’s Dual-Pixel CMOS Autofocus technology.

PhotoPlus Expo attendees also had the opportunity to touch and try Canon’s digital imaging solutions, including the recently announced EOS 6D Mark II DSLR, the mirrorless EOS M100 interchangeable-lens camera and EF 85mm f/1.4L IS USM lens.

The booth additionally featured the full line of Canon EOS and PowerShot digital cameras, as well as EF lenses. Moreover, imagePrograf Pro, Pixma Pro, Pixma and Selphy printers, as well as REALiS projectors, were exhibited.

Canon also showed its line of Canon Gear, which was available for purchase to visitors at the Canon booth. The collection of officially licensed Canon merchandise includes miniature Canon model cameras, Canon-branded thermal water bottles, backpacks, collectible photographer teddy bears and more.
