Huntington Beach, CA—MailPix, a photo printing, canvas and gifting site, announced the acquisition of personalized photo pet product website, Just4MyPet.com. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
MailPix plans to expand the core business of Just4MyPet.com and offer many new personalized photo gift products over the next few months. One of most popular features of Just4MyPet.com—free personalized ID tags—will continue to be offered.

MailPix.com is an online service for printing photos at thousands of retailers from a phone app or PC. The site also offers a mail-to-home service. MailPix preserves photo memories as photo books, canvas, prints, cards, enlargements and also other photo gift products. The service is integrated to print photos from any phone, device or computer.
Fred H. Lerner is the founder and CEO of MailPix, his latest start-up. He previously founded Ritz Interactive, which included RitzCamera.com, WolfCamera.com and others. Lerner also founded two imaging companies that were acquired by Kodak and he became the CEO of Kodak Processing Labs. He is a UN Hall of Fame recipient from the International Photographic Council as well as past president of PMAI.
Peter Tahmin, cofounder and COO of MailPix, was the former vice president at Ritz Camera & Image and also cofounder, senior vice president and COO of the Ritz Interactive e-commerce network.
