Huntington Beach, CA—MailPix, a photo printing, photo canvas and photo gift creation site, finalized its second acquisition of the year. Personalized photo printing site MyPix2.com is now part of MailPix’s portfolio. Terms of the buyout were not disclosed.
In addition, MailPix will expand the core wall decor and fine art print business of MyPix2.com. It will offer a wide range of personalized photo gift products over the next few months. This acquisition follows MailPix’s buyout of Just4MyPet on April 2017, adding to the MailPix family of personalized photo websites.

The mission of MyPix2 is to make it easy for consumers to print photos from smartphones as well as social media via a mobile interface. Furthermore, the prints can be pick up in an hour at most major retailers, or mailed to any address.
Consumers can upload their images from Instagram and also Facebook albums to create custom-size, archival silver halide photo prints. The prints are available in a wide variety of sizes in matte or glossy finish. They can also order canvas and metallic prints as well as photo books and fine art prints.
The fine art prints are printed on heavy-weight, custom-developed 264 gsm matte fine art paper using archival pigment-based inks. The prints ship flat.
