Vernon Hills, IL—Photo novelty provider Neil Enterprises, Inc. has moved its headquarters to a newly built facility located at 1000 Woodlands Parkway in Vernon Hills, Illinois. At 120,000 square feet, the building houses all office, production and warehouse employees.
This expansion allows Neil Enterprises to increase its storage capabilities, add new machinery to expand the variety of custom printing options on photo gifts, and also increase office space to accommodate growth throughout the organization.

Several measures were taken in the construction of the new warehouse and office building to achieve optimal sustainability. Local materials were used when possible as well as low-emitting materials. These included paint, flooring, adhesives and sealants.
Moreover, a state of the art storm-water management system was put into place, including water efficient landscaping. Increased ventilation and high-tech lighting systems will allow for constant energy savings throughout the day based on sun exposure, and the building becomes even more energy efficient when unoccupied.
