Melville, NY—Canon Inc., the parent company of Canon USA, Inc., launched a new Cropping Guide for Canon EOS cameras. Moreover, Canon will make the feature available via a firmware update for the EOS R50, EOS R10 and EOS R7 cameras. Further, it will allow you to more easily frame a subject through the use of four tailored on-screen guides.
Cropping Guide for Canon EOS Details
The new feature launches December 9, 2024, from Canon USA for the price of $120. For customers who have previously purchased one of the camera models compatible with the feature, they can send their device to a Canon Service Center. Canon will return the camera with the cropping guide feature installed.
For new customers interested in the above-mentioned models, the option to purchase them preloaded with the feature (for an additional cost) is available. This option is available via Canon Direct and other dealers starting today.
