Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm announced that Dr. Bruce Novich was named division president of Fujifilm North America Corporation’s newly created Industrial and Corporate New Business Development Division (FNAC-IBD), effective April 1, 2015.
“Dr. Novich brings an extraordinary portfolio of professional experience, industry and academic relationships and a track record for innovation to this newly established division,” said Go Miyazaki, corporate vice president, Fujifilm Corporation, and president and chief executive officer, Fujifilm North America Corporation. “Under his leadership, we are confident that this new division will succeed in its mission of accelerating Fujifilm’s global business expansion by driving Fujifilm technologies and products into new and adjacent markets.”
Novich came to Fujifilm Electronic Materials as part of Fujifilm’s acquisition of Arch Chemical’s Microelectronic Materials Division, where he had a senior management position. Prior to his work at Arch Microelectronic, Novich held R&D and business management positions within the Electronics and Specialty Materials Division at PPG Industries. Prior to PPG, he was vice president, Research, Development and Engineering, at CPS Technology Corporation, a company he cofounded in 1984 with several other MIT technologists.
