Las Vegas, NV—The Imaging Alliance, the imaging industry’s leading trade association, announced two new board members. The new additions further the goal to diversify the scope of the trade association’s influence.

The new members are Peter Liebmann, the national strategic accounts manager for Western Digital. Ian Hamilton, president of the Technology Sector of the NPD Group, also joined the board.

“We’ve always envisioned that the Imaging Alliance board should represent a diverse view of the imaging industry,” said Jerry Grossman, executive director. “Bringing the many facets of our industry together, from manufacturers and retailers to software developers, photo organization leaders and research experts, will allow us to expand the purview of the Imaging Alliance to all facets of visual innovation.”

In addition, 25 photo specialty store executives are members of the alliance.

“We believe in a strong industry association that can serve all the segments of photography consumers, from professionals to those interested in artistic expression and the preservation of their family memories,” said Liebmann. “I look forward to working together with the great companies represented on this board to grow our industry.”
