Jackson, MI—PMA reports The Venetian exhibit space allotted for the 2012 PMA@CES is nearly sold out. Hotel space and flights are also filling up fast, so PMA is encouraging photo retailers, photo labs, photographers and online service providers to book travel arrangements now. The association added that the combined PMA, Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA) and CES experience, January 8-13, 2012, is shaping up to be the biggest imaging exhibition and conferences in U.S. history.

“We’re ecstatic over the number of imaging companies participating on the PMA side of the show as well as CES,” said Jim Esp, the new executive director of PMA. “With DIMA and our traditional PMA programming, we’ve got a terrific lineup. We’re seeing strong registration numbers from our members as well.”

Pentax Ricoh, Liberty Synergistics, Lucidiom, Noritsu America and Tamrac are among the confirmed exhibitors in the PMA@CES TechZone, which will also feature imaging-specific pavilions from China and from Germany. Other imaging exhibitors at The Venetian include Black Rapid, Bowens International, Dot Line, KIS Photo-Me, Marumi Optical Co., Mediaclip, OmegaBrandess, Pioneer Photo Albums, Storefront.com, AAA Imaging Solutions, Altech Co., Artsy Couture, GPI International, Matin International, and Think Tank Photo.

The 2012 International CES will also feature a robust array of digital imaging companies exhibiting in other areas of the show floor, including Canon, Casio, Fujifilm, JVC, Kodak, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung, Sigma, Sony, Tiffen and Vivitar.

PMA@CES is designed to give attendees maximum exposure to all of the newest technology and products in the imaging/electronics world. With strong programming plus the ability to preview all of the new products and services offered by the exhibitors at both PMA and CES, the trip to Las Vegas becomes a terrific value. “Virtually every PMA retailer has always had CES on their bucket list!” said Kirk Sidley, PMA past president and member of its board of directors. “Now they can take advantage of two great shows in Vegas at the same time and on one trip.”

Esp added that the outlook is bright for the PMA/CES relationship, which is in the first year of a two-year agreement and will continue in 2013. pmai.org
