DIMA 2012 Update: New Speakers Added to WEVA Conference

Jackson, MI—PMA announced that Tim Sudall and Technicolor were added to the WEVA Wedding & Event Filmmakers Conference, which will be held in Las Vegas on January 9 at the Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA) conference, just prior to PMA@CES.

Joining the already announced conference speakers will be Wedding and Event Videographers Association (WEVA) International Hall of Fame inductee Tim Sudall of Video One Productions. Sudall will be sharing new video marketing strategies and business building methods. Additionally, a special segment by Technicolor, focusing on brand-new DSLR color grading techniques, has been added to the program.

The all-day event, “Getting into Wedding & Event Filmmaking – 101,” will be held at Bally’s Las Vegas in conjunction with the 2012 DIMA conference. Full registration covers breakfast, lunch, the evening Welcome Reception at Bally’s plus registration for the 2012 DIMA conference, PMA@CES conference and exhibits and the 2012 International CES trade show.

WEVA featured speakers already announced for the conference include WEVA Creative Excellence Gold Award winners Michael Brand of Lafayette Hill Studios; Alex Karas of Voila Cinematic; and Jenny Lehman of Jenny Lehman Film & Video.

The conference will also feature everything the new or established wedding filmmaking and event videography business needs to know, including shooting and editing techniques and proven marketing methods. New industry trends will also be spotlighted, including how new digital SLRs and Red (Scarlet-X) differ from traditional video cameras with comparison examples. pmai.org
