Jackson, MI—PMA announced that best-selling author Janine Warner will be the keynote speaker at the DIMA 2013 and PSPA/SPAA 2013 conferences, on Monday, January 7, 2013, at Bally’s Las Vegas. The DIMA 2013 and PSPA/SPAA 2013 conferences immediately precede PMA@CES 2013, which takes place January 8-11, 2013, at the LVH, formerly known as the Las Vegas Hilton.
Warner will address the importance and risks of one’s online reputation, in the perspective of an increasingly mobile, globally connected world. In her keynote speech, “Reputation on the Line: Building, Managing and Protecting Your Personal and Professional Reputation Online,” Warner will take attendees on a journey through the Internet, sharing hilarious stories of mistaken identity, devastating accounts of cyber shame, cautionary tales about the rise of cyber vigilantism, and inspiring tales of online success.
“As an imaging retailer, I’m looking forward to Warner’s wisdom and direction, and learning how to maximize the opportunities to build stronger relationships with my customers through online communication,” said Allen Showalter, PMA president and owner of King Photo in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Warner also will provide an incisive look at how the digital revolution has transformed the way we establish and maintain personal and professional relationships, and she will share steps that conference attendees can take to enhance their online reputations.
Warner will explain:
• Three ways to build your online reputation while protecting your privacy
• Research techniques that can help you make stronger connections
• Winning strategies that turn critical reviewers into loyal customers
• How to create an online image that does justice to—and maybe even looks better than—the real you.
“Janine will be a great addition to our event. She has a big following; she’s brilliant, she presents up-to-the-minute, relevant information, and audiences love her,” said Erin Manning, a DIMA board member and professional photographer, TV host, author and teacher.
