Union, NJ—Hasselblad is sponsoring the 5th International Creative Contest 2013 that aims to raise awareness of violence issues centered on children and young people. As an official partner, it is not only a member of the jury, whose decision will be announced during a gala in September in Munich, but will also offer the loan of camera equipment to a winning entrant for completing work on a photographic idea.
This prize also includes the presentation of the resulting images across various media and as a special DVD edition with a DVD cover and TV spot.
“Agi ArbeitsGruppe International and the nonprofit organization Glückliche Familie e.V.—organizers of the 5th International Creative Contest 2013—are seeking out ideas that will actively help promote the prevention of violence around the world, with a real emphasis on societal and social values,” explained Uwe Moebus, managing director of Hasselblad Germany. “This is a commendable cause and one with which we are particularly keen to be associated.”
Contest entrants will compete for prizes across a range of categories, including: photography, short films, animated films and game design, plus painting, illustration, advertising, PR and journalism. Participants can enter as many genres as they wish. The submission deadline is July 10; visit foto-film-game-contest.de/en/call-submissions.html for entrant details.
