San Diego, CA—Sony Electronics announced that Neal Manowitz was appointed to the role of vice president of Digital Imaging, Consumer Sales & Marketing. In his new role, Manowitz will be responsible for overseeing all Digital Imaging sales and marketing activities in Canada and the U.S., including the development of strategies aimed at strengthening the customer experience while driving channel growth.
Manowitz, currently deputy vice president of Digital Imaging for Sony North America, joined Sony in 1993, bringing more than 10 years of experience within the imaging industry. During his tenure at Sony, Manowitz’s achievements include managing the launch of Sony into the U.S. consumer digital camera market and being awarded more than 30 U.S. patents.
