A pair of CE industry veterans have announced the formation of a new consultancy aimed at helping companies deal with the uncertain markets of today and tomorrow. The new company, BlueSalve, has been founded by Lew Brown and Robert Heiblim.
Brown was formerly a vice president with Z-Wave developer Zensys, while Heiblim is a 30-year industry veteran in various capacities.
”In today’s tough market, management leadership is realizing that they don’t have all of the answers or internal resources to wend their way through all of the challenges they are facing,” Heiblim said as part of the announcement. With most companies facing layoffs or at minimum hiring freezes, the idea of being able to bring in senior level experts to extend their reach for a short term project or for an objective fresh perspective is very appealing.
