Melville, NY—Canon USA, Inc., a global provider of digital imaging solutions, announced its latest executive appointment and promotion. Moreover, the appointment took effect April 1, 2022. The company promoted Isao “Sammy” Kobayashi to the position of senior vice president and general manager, Hybrid-workplace Solutions Group, Canon USA, Inc.
In addition, Kobayashi was appointed as an executive officer of Canon Inc. “Mr. Kobayashi demonstrates excellent leadership skills, bringing value to the company and helping Canon maintain its position as a leader in digital imaging solutions,” the company announced.
Canon’s Newest Senior Vice President
Sammy Kobayashi has been with Canon USA, Inc., for 17 years. Prior to his latest promotion, he was the vice president and general manager of the company’s Hybrid-workplace Solutions Group. He was also vice president and general manager of the Imaging Technologies & Communications Group.
