Lake Success, NY—Canon USA announced two senior executive appointments: Joseph Warren was appointed senior vice president and general manager of Customer Support Operations for Canon USA, Inc., where he oversees support operations for Canon’s consumer products divisions; and Elsa de Sucre was named president of Canon Panama, where she will oversee all of Canon’s operations in the region.

Additionally, Warren was also appointed as chairman and CEO of Canon Information Technology Services, Inc., where he will oversee Canon USA’s call center operations.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce these two appointments. Joe Warren has been instrumental in guiding the success and recognition that Canon earns year after year for our dedicated customer support. Thanks to Joe’s leadership, our award-winning 100% U.S.-based customer support staff has been recognized by PCMag.com Readers’ Choice awards for service and reliability for the eighth consecutive year,” said Joe Adachi, president and CEO, Canon USA. “Much of Canon’s success throughout Latin America can be attributed to the guidance, leadership, dedication and passion of Elsa de Sucre and there is no one more suited to take the helm as president of Canon Panama.”

Warren, who most recently served as vice president and general manager for the Customer Support Operations, has held numerous manufacturing and customer support positions within Canon USA and its subsidiary, Canon Virginia, Inc., over his more than 20-year career with the company. Under his leadership, Canon recently added the Hollywood Professional Technology and Support Center to its nationwide customer service and support network, as part of Canon’s Cinema EOS launch last year.

Elsa de Sucre most recently served as vice president of Canon Panama and draws from a wealth of experience from the many positions she has held since joining Canon in 1977. She began her career at Canon in the Accounting department overseeing accounts receivable for Latin American countries. In 1988 she was appointed supervisor of the Import & Export division for Canon Panama, and in 1996 she was given a new assignment as Human Resources and General Affairs manager. In 2007 she received a promotion to general manager before her appointment as vice president in 2010. usa.canon.com
