Pittsburgh, PA—A permanent memory-keeping company, Forever Inc. welcomed David (Dave) Koegler back as its new vice president and chief financial officer.
Koegler brings more than 20 years of finance, audit, tax, accounting as well as entrepreneurial finance experience to the Forever team. Most recently, he served as director of Fund Administration at Tecum Capital Management. In addition, he was responsible for fund accounting, compliance and investor relations. He also supported ongoing fundraising efforts for both mezzanine and control equity investment platforms.
“Dave was with Forever during the early days of our company. He is a proven financial leader. I have collaborated with him extensively in the past,” said Glen Meakem, Forever’s founder and CEO. “It is an absolute pleasure to welcome him back to Forever!”
Koegler’s career has spanned nearly two decades in various positions throughout the Western Pennsylvania region. Moreover, his resume consists of financial leadership roles that include chief financial officer at Niche.com. He completed three financing rounds for Niche.com, as well as manage operational accounting, financial reporting, financial planning and human resources.
He was also a principal and chief financial officer for Meakem Becker Venture Capital. In addition, Koegler held positions at FreeMarkets; Portola Packaging, Inc.; Allegheny Health Education and Research Foundation; Medrad; Coopers and Lybrand; and Forever during the company’s inception in 2012.
