Allendale, NJ—Leica Camera appointed Mike Giannattasio as president of its North American division, effective July 1. In his new position, Giannattasio brings extensive knowledge in brand strategy, organizational development, sales growth as well as marketing transformation to Leica Camera USA.
Moreover, Giannattasio replaces Roger Horn, who is retiring after a 40-year career with Leica.

Furthermore, Mike Giannattasio joins Leica with more than 30 years of experience in the luxury accessory sectors at Montblanc North America, Christian Dior Watches, Breguet and Swatch Group. Before joining Leica, Giannattasio was the president of Silhouette International, a pioneer in the professional eyewear and lens industry.

Horn retires from his position as president of Leica Camera USA following a 40-year career. “It is with the deepest gratitude that we thank Roger for his vast contributions to the Leica family. Leica Camera is headquartered in Wetzlar, Germany. It also has a second production site in Vila Nova de Famalicão, Portugal. Leica Camera USA is in Allendale, New Jersey.
