Secaucus, NJ—Mike Riccio was named chief financial officer of Panasonic Corporation of North America, the principal North American subsidiary of Osaka, Japan-based Panasonic Corporation.
Riccio, who until now has served as the company’s vice president and controller, has worked for Panasonic for 26 years, holding key accounting and financial management positions and leading many of the company’s strategic initiatives in the U.S. and Canada.
“Mike’s well deserved appointment to this post is an important milestone in the continued localization of Panasonic’s management outside Japan,” said Joseph M. Taylor, chairman and CEO of Panasonic Corporation of North America.
In addition to his new responsibilities as CFO, Riccio will continue to lead the relocation of the company’s headquarters operations.
