Regarding his recent appointment to VP of Marketing for the MAC Group, Jan Lederman, President of MAC Group said of Ray Vitiello, “Ray has been a valued member of the team since MAC began in 1988. This appointment is a recognition of his experience and demonstrated skills in the marketing of our brands.”
Lederman added, "He has been very instrumental in bringing us from what originally began as Mamiya America Corporation, the distributor of Mamiya Cameras, to what we have become today: MAC Group, a marketing company dedicated to providing professional photographers the tools they use to create images."
Vitiello started his career in the retail side of the photo industry, then switched to wholesale in the mid-60’s where he began his association with both Paul Klingenstein and Henry Froehlich, the now deceased co-founders of MAC Group.
His sales and marketing experience brought contributions to the Kling Photo, Nikon, Beseler, Holson and Froehlich FotoVideo companies. Lederman continued: “We look forward to Ray’s ongoing leadership as we continue our aggressive marketing campaigns in today’s competitive marketplace.”
