Irvine, CA—Roland DGA strengthened its management team with key personnel changes. The announcement comes as Roland DG executes its GlobalOne plan to strengthen its positions in the markets it serves around the world. The company’s product line includes wide-format inkjet printers, vinyl cutters, engravers, 3D rapid prototyping equipment and impact printers.
According to Rick Scrimger, Roland DGA’s president, promotions, hires and appointments reflect its overall growth and expansion into lucrative markets.
Mark O’Connor was promoted to the newly created position of business development manager–digital signage. He will play an instrumental role in the launch of Roland’s digital signage equipment. Greg Collin assumed the new position of product manager–digital signage. He will manage Roland’s digital signage product program, working with the new business development manager..
Dana Curtis was promoted to Roland care manager, where he oversees Roland’s technical support representatives and the development of customer service tools and resources. Previously, Curtis served as Roland’s product manager for inkjet devices and cutters.
Jane Napolitano joins Roland DGA as customer service supervisor. Her responsibilities include ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within the department and overseeing Roland’s Level 1 and 2 customer service reps.
Daryl Chaffins was hired as Roland DGA’s business development manager – UV East. He is responsible for Roland UV product sales throughout the Eastern U.S. and Canada. Chaffins brings nearly seven years’ experience, including sales positions with HP.
Jeff DiToro was appointed to the newly created position of senior global software manager to oversee Roland’s software line. DiToro served with several companies within the wide-format digital printing industry, including 3M.
Lily Hunter joins Roland as product manager – textiles and consumables. She is responsible for managing Roland’s dye-sublimation portfolio, media and ink products.
Eric Iverson was hired as the Northwest region service account manager. His responsibilities include working with Roland’s regional sales team to develop accounts by satisfying service-related needs. Garret Luppino joins Roland as Midwest region service account manager. He will work closely with the Midwest sales team to handle the service needs of Midwest accounts. rolanddga.com
