D&H Sold Over 2 Million Products in Earth Day Promotion

D&H Distributing said Friday that its D&H Distributing Earth Day 40th Anniversary Promotion generated sales of over 2.3 million ecologically conservative products. More than 2,300 customers qualified for the Grand Prize, which was awarded this week.

D&H dealer OfficeNation of Northbrook, Ill., was the winner of a hybrid car. See a video of the presentation of the car here.

“The outcome of this promotion exceeded our expectations right from the start, so we can’t be happier, considering the cause. We have to hand it to our customers, also — so many of them were quick to shift their purchases toward Earth-friendly choices,” Jeff Davis, senior vice president of sales at D&H and one of the executives who has spearheaded D&H’s Go Green initiatives, said as part of the announcement.

“The goal was to actively encourage the adoption of cleaner, renewable or less power-hungry technologies, and based on our cumulative numbers, I think we can say we’ve made a positive impact.”

The program ran from the first of the year through April 16. See D&H's green site for more on the company's green efforts.
