The Shack Focuses on Phones


RadioShack, under its new "The Shack" brand name, will be strongly emphasizing mobile phones, a company executive told Dow Jones Newswires Monday.

The first television commercials for The Shack strongly emphasize the chain’s mobile phone offerings, and one even claims that the company "sells more phones than the population of Scandinavia."

The company recently added T-Mobile phones, including the myTouch 3G, to its existing Sprint and AT&T offerings.
