Clearwater, FL—Tech Data Corporation, a distributor of IT products and services, was ranked as a World’s Most Admired Company by Fortune magazine for the fourth straight year. Tech Data is the highest ranked end-to-end distributor in the Wholesalers: Electronics and Office Equipment category, ranking third overall in the sector.

The World’s Most Admired list is compiled on behalf of Fortune by the Hay Group, a global management consulting firm, through surveying more than 3,800 company executives, directors and industry analysts. Companies are ranked by nine key attributes: innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment, quality of products/services and global competitiveness. The Hay Group compiled its data from approximately 1,400 companies: the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue and non-U.S. companies in Fortune’s Global 500 database with revenue of $10 billion or more. A total of 687 companies from 30 countries were surveyed.
