Exhibit Featured in New York’s Grand Central Terminal

Valhalla, NY—Fujifilm North America Corporation is participating in the 2017 Japan Week in Grand Central Terminal—42nd Street, Vanderbilt Hall—from March 8–10. Sponsored by the Japan National Tourism Organization, the exhibit will be open March 8, 2:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.; March 9, 10:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.; and March 10, 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.

As part of its celebration and efforts to raise awareness of Japanese travel and culture, the Fujifilm booth (#15) features large, high-quality images shot in Japan. The images, showcasing the performance of Fujifilm’s premium digital cameras, are printed on Fujifilm photo papers. Visitors are encouraged to try, ask questions about and get firsthand experience with Fujifilm’s products.

Furthermore, guests can see the Instax Mini 70 and Mini 8 instant film cameras and the larger format Wide 300. All the Instax cameras print instant film pictures to share. Visitors are also able to take pictures in a NYC-themed Instax frame with a backdrop. Also on view is the next-generation Instax Share SP-2 smartphone printer. The SP-2 prints instant pictures wirelessly from Fujifilm X-series digital cameras.

Open to the general public passing through Grand Central Terminal, Fujifilm’s booth also features digital imaging products. These include the new X100F, X-T20 and X-A3 digital cameras. Also on display along are new color variations of the flagship X-T2 (graphite silver) and X-Pro2 (graphite) cameras.

Fujifilm’s Wonder Photo Shop

Following their experience at the Japan Week exhibits, visitors are encouraged to visit Fujifilm’s Wonder Photo Shop. In July 2016, the brick-and-mortar Wonder Photo Shop opened in New York City at 176 5th Avenue. In the heart of the iconic Flatiron District, long known as the “photography district” in Manhattan, the shop has welcomed visitors from around the world.

The Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop is an immersive photo and brand experience concept. It also serves as a base for communicating new ways to enjoy photographs in the smartphone age. In addition, it offers a wide variety of print materials and print ordering terminals. The shop is also a place where visitors can discover new ways to enjoy photos with photo frames, albums and a range of photo accessories.
