Grand Rapids, MI—Pro Imaging Connect (PI Connect), the executive conference for the photo-imaging industry, has moved to September 12–13, 2020. It is still located at the Horseshoe Bay Resort in Austin, Texas.
The PI Connect conference brings together industry leaders from portrait labs, vertically integrated studios, photo retailers, online print service providers as well as vendors. The conference, originally scheduled for March 21–22, 2020, is a low-cost solution for business owners and managers to get together; to share ideas; and to experience new products and equipment in a relaxed setting.
The two-day conference program includes a mixture of hot business topics, short vendor presentations as well as social activities. Moreover, the Pro Imaging Connect conference is programmed by Gary Pageau, editor of the Dead Pixels Society, a photo-imaging networking group and news site.
“Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we thought it appropriate for everyone’s safety to postpone Pro Imaging Connect,” said Toren Prawdzik, conference organizer, and president of Photo EVO. “We were able to secure appropriate dates in the fall. Both Pro Imaging Connect and Pro Imaging Golf will again take place at the beautiful Horseshoe Bay Resort.”
Further, the organizers will announce the revised Pro Imaging Connect educational program soon, as speakers are confirmed.
PI Connect Plus
The conference hosts more than 144 industry attendees. In Austin, Texas, it provides three days of fun-filled activities; they include golf, parties, networking events as well as educational events. In addition to two days of executive-level education, the conference features Pro Imaging Golf. With more than 30 years in existence and now partnered with SGIA, this event offers two days of networking as well as the famous scramble golf tournament.
What’s more, attendees can choose to attend just the Pro Imaging Connect educational event, September 12–13; just the Pro Imaging Golf event, September 14–15; or both events. Furthermore, Pro Imaging Connect registration is currently underway, with conference-only registration of $199. A nightly room at Horseshoe Bay Resort is $267.74 per night plus $179 for conference registration.
To attend both events, the registration package for Pro Imaging Connect, Pro Imaging Golf, a nightly room, plus one round of golf per day at Horseshoe Bay Resort is $355.74 per night.
Pro Imaging, in conjunction with SGIA, also hosts a networking event at PRINTING United in October. The event is open to all in the industry.
