During the flash sale, purchasers of the Tamron 17–28mm f/2.8 or 28–75mm f/2.8 lens get $100 and $80 instant savings, respectively. However, they must purchase the lenses through authorized Tamron USA retailers.
Both of these lenses—the 17–28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD and 28–75mm f/2.8 Di III RXD—feature excellent optical performance in compact designs. Moreover, Tamron’s RXD (Rapid-eXtra-silent stepping drive) motor unit is a high-speed, precision AF drive system that is also quiet.
The lenses provide close-focusing capability as well as a uniform Ø67mm filter size. They also feature moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine coating that provides extra protection when shooting in inclement weather. In addition, the lenses are compatible with various features built into Sony mirrorless cameras, including eye AF.
