Las Vegas, NV—Phase One announced it is holding a two-day Phase One certified professional training session in New York City, March 20 and 21, 2019. The POCP training program gives working digital techs and pro photographers the training and skills they need to confidently work with the Phase One camera system and Capture One software.
Moreover, the POCP certification program is an advanced seminar for working professionals taught by Phase One technical support staff, all of which have years of experience on set. In addition, the training sessions encompass everything from efficient on-set workflow to troubleshooting and camera setup/operation. At the end of two days, the program culminates with a written test.
Furthermore, those who pass the exam are given the title of Phase One Certified Professional and are listed in the official Phase One database.
The training program includes:
- A full license of Capture One 12 software
- A special Troubleshooting Guide
- Listing on Phase One’s website as a Phase One Certified Digital Tech
- Shooting time on the XF camera

The certification process consists of three steps: qualification via the company’s online pre-course; attending the official POCP training course (both days); and also passing the certification written exam.
Registration for the POCP training program includes access to the pre-course as well as all materials at training. New certification registrants also receive a full license for Capture One software (a $299 value). A pre-course account and access link is given upon registration for the training program.
