White Plains, NY—The new Zeiss Otus ML lens series is specifically for professional photographers and ambitious visual story creators who require high optical performance. Initially, the series comprises two focal lengths: a 1.4/50 lens for versatile photography as well as a 1.4/85 lens for portraiture. Further, the full-frame lenses come in the Sony E, Canon RF as well as Nikon Z mounts. Zeiss will release the lenses in late spring 2025.

Scales also enable quick adjustments, and a blue sealing ring protects the lens interface from dust and moisture. Additional seals provide protection against splashes. 
The Zeiss Otus ML 1.4/50 has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $2,499. The Otus ML 1.4/85 has an MSRP of $2,999.
