Concord, NC—DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation (DNP IAM) announced the launch of its DNP Wireless Connect Module (WCM). The WCM takes all of DNP’s photo printers to the next level by allowing users to wirelessly print photos directly from any iOS or macOS device on the network.
Moreover, the new wireless printing function makes it easy for professional photographers, photo booth operators and event photographers to connect and print on-location or in the studio.
“We are thrilled to bring additional wireless printing capabilities to our photo printers and to our customers,” said Shinichi Yamashita, president, DNP IAM.
“The functions of the Wireless Connect Module are designed for all of our customers; from professional photographers working in their studios to photo booth operators who are always on the road. With the new Wireless Connect Module, customers can also expand their services for their clients and increase revenue with the touch of a button.”

Furthermore, the WCM works with AirPrint to allow iOS apps to print to DNP printers; no special printing app required. Photographers can set up as well as configure the device through an admin page accessed via a web browser. Users can select print sizes and number of copies, as well as send photos to multiple printers. In addition, DNP says the WCM ensures images do not print stretched or distorted.
The WCM supports all DNP printers, and it can connect to multiple printers to allow for faster output. Tow USB ports allow connection to other DNP printers.
DNP’s photo printers deliver high-quality prints. What’s more, the printers use dye-sublimation print technology to produce photos that do not smudge and stay vibrant over time.
The company is a 100% U.S. subsidiary of Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (DNP). Its parent company is among the world’s largest manufacturers of dye-sublimation media for photo printers and thermal transfer ribbons and barcode printers.
DNP Imagingcomm America Corporation has a broad selection of solutions for the photo retail market. Moreover, its products are designed to address retailer’s specific business goals and objectives.
