The February/March 2019 issue’s featured photographer is Devon Loerop. “I was always fascinated by the art of photography and wanted to create captivating visuals like I had seen on social media,” says Loerop.
“In January 2018, while finishing up my mechanical engineering degree in Michigan, I decided to make this dream come true. It was then I started pushing myself to learn as much as possible about photography. Every weekend I was shooting with friends and staying up late learning how to better edit my photos.
“I decided if I wanted to take my photography to a new level, I needed to move to the West Coast where the landscapes better fit my style. I had my first big break when this photo, Vance Creek Train, was featured in front of the @MoodyGrams Instagram audience. As a result, the image was seen by millions of people on social media. I also plan on continuing to work with brands and see where this crazy journey takes me.”
