The featured photographer for Digital Imaging Reporter’s October issue is Luke Stackpoole.

“I am a London-based photographer and storyteller,” says Stackpoole. “Moreover, I specialize in lifestyle and travel photography. I spend the majority of my time abroad, creating photographic as well as video content for leading brands. They include Adobe, Amex, Balblair, Discovery Channel, Europcar, Martin Millers, Tamron, Trespass and also Visit Wales.

“This is an image of dormant volcanic craters near Landmannalaugar, in central Iceland, with a Land Rover Discovery in the foreground. I shot this photograph during a recent two-week adventure touring the entire Icelandic Ring Road.”

Stackpoole primarily uses the Nikon D850 digital SLR camera as well as the DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone.
