North White Plains, NY—Tenba’s new Cineluxe video camera bags will be available at retail this month. The Cineluxe collection is the first to bring a “doctor-bag” style opening to backpacks, shoulder bags and also a rolling case. The camera bags offer new features, like Tenba’s Flex-Core dividers that are both rigid and flexible.
The doctor-bag design is said to allow filmmakers “the quickest possible access to their gear when shooting.” Its extra-wide opening permits unobstructed access to gear through only one zipper. The opening is crafted from anodized aluminum bars that give access to the interior while also increasing the bag’s rigidity and protection. To meet the needs of traveling filmmakers, the doctor-bag functionality was fitted to a carry-on-compatible rolling case and two backpacks.
Tenba’s Cineluxe bags also feature proprietary Flex-Core dividers made with aluminum reinforcement. The dividers are engineered to provide a secure separation between cameras and lenses while also being bendable and re-positionable.
Furthermore, all Cineluxe bags include a selection of protective padded wraps and pouches to protect lenses and delicate accessories. This allows them to be safely stored alongside camera rigs to maximize the bags’ interior storage space.
The Cineluxe bags are constructed with a water-repellent exterior of 840-denier junior ballistic nylon with YKK zippers, a waterproof bottom panel and an interior of ripstop nylon and soft, brushed tricot. Each bag includes a WeatherWrap rain cover and trolley straps to piggyback onto larger rolling cases.
The Cineluxe collection includes one rolling bag, two backpacks and four shoulder bags. Four of the bags are international carry-on compatible.

Built to fit professional camcorders, cinema cameras and ENG rigs from Sony, Canon, RED, Blackmagic and others, with matte box and other accessories attached, it meets most international carry-on regulations. The video camera backpack includes two padded wraps and a padded zippered pouch. It also has a protective lens pillow and a camera security strap. To ensure the Backpack 21 is comfortable to carry even when fully loaded, it features Tenba’s ventilated airflow back panel and Pivot-Fit harness straps that automatically adjust for shoulder and body types.
