Kodak PixPro Previews Next-Gen 3D 360 & VR Cameras at CES 2018

Las Vegas, NV—JK Imaging Ltd. is previewing two next-generation designs for 3D 360 and 360° VR (virtual reality) cameras at CES. The company is located in the LVCC South Hall 1, booth #21224. JK  is a licensee for Kodak PixPro digital cameras and devices.

“JK Imaging’s continuing commitment to consumer video enthusiasts worldwide is sustained by continuing to expand worldwide distribution of the award-winning Kodak PixPro Orbit360 4K VR camera” to retailers, the company announced.

Kodak-PixPro-FamilyThe Orbit360 4K VR camera gives users the ability to capture 360° video and stitch internally to share on social platforms. With a dual-lens, single-body, compact design, it can also be used as a superwide-angle (197° FOV) 4K camera. Furthermore, the device enables users to shoot in dome or extreme fisheye mode.

The entry-level Kodak PixPro Orbit360 4K adventure pack starts at a suggested retail price of $499.99. It’s bundled with accessories that allow the user to start recording 360° VR video right out of the box.

The step-up satellite pack has an SRP of $549.99. Both camera bundles come with complimentary PixPro 360 VR Suite software. The suite enables editing and stitching 4K files on Macs and PCs.

Moreover, for professionals engaged in producing 360°, the Kodak PixPro SP360 4K VR camera bundles continue to be sold. They are marketed as solutions for moving away from more expensive multi-camera rigs and hours of postproduction editing.

The SP360 4K VR cameras now support 5.7K video resolution. This enhancement is via a recent update to the complimentary PixPro 360 VR Suite software.

Furthermore, all Kodak PixPro 360° VR cameras are YouTube compatible for 360°, interactive videos and Facebook compatible for 360° photos and videos.
