Features include: Photomerge to match the style of one photo to another, create fuller panoramas, better group shots and combine elements of different faces; the ability to remove red-eye, touch up skin tones, sharpen blurry photos, use one-step shortcuts to whiten teeth, make skies bluer, fix color, contrast, and lighting, and remove photo clutter such as street signs and people who wandered into the frame. Users can also convert color originals to black and whites or sepia tones, and use the smart brush to paint any of 100 effects onto specific areas of a photo.
Photoshop Elements’ Guided Edits provide step-by-step assistance for creating all kinds of advanced effects and enhancements. The software also enables users to organize and find photos, edit and enhance them, create custom photo keepsakes and share them via print and the web. Users can also expand the editing options by importing and applying effects and styles from popular photo sites and blogs.
With Premiere Elements 11, users can create pro-level videos with automated moviemaking options to take the work out of editing, like using the new FilmLooks to apply favorite cinematic styles to movies. They can also create emphasis or drama in key movie moments by adding slow-motion effects, or add fast-motion effects to accelerate the narrative or create a sense of energy. Consumers can also use sliders to adjust the color in their footage as they would adjust the color in their photos. They can also use blend modes to enhance one clip with the colors or textures of another clip and add a signature or a copyright line as a watermark. Video clips and movies can then be uploaded from the software to the Vimeo site for sharing.
