Apple has sent out invitations to the press for its new product event, which is scheduled for Jan. 27 and widely expected to include the unveiling of its new tablet device.
The invitation invites the press to “come see our latest creation,” and features the Apple logo on top of what looks like splattered paint. The event will take place at San Francisco's Yerba Buena Center at 10 a.m. Pacific time on Jan. 27, which is a week from Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Fox News reported Monday that in addition to the tablet, a fourth version of the iPhone will unveiled at the event as well. Citing an Apple source, Fox said that the event will focus on three products: the tablet, the “iPhone 4,” and a new version of the iLife software.
