Long Beach, CA—The Epson Expression Photo XP-850 small-in-one printer, targeted at photo enthusiasts and families, uses Claria Photo HD six-color inks for smooth gradations and true-to-life skin tones. It also includes wireless features for mobile printing from iPads iPhones, tablets and smartphones.

The printer, which is said to produce a 4×6-inch photo in 10 seconds, has a dedicated photo tray, direct CD/DVD printing and a rear paper feed for card stock and envelopes. It also offers such productivity features as automatic two-sided printing, copying and scanning, a 3.5-inch LCD with gesture navigation, and a 30-page automatic document feeder with color fax. An auto-extend output paper tray means output will remain organized and not all over the floor.
The Expression XP-850 includes Ethernet networking and built-in Wi-Fi that allows multiple users to share one printer or print from any room. Other wireless functionality includes Wi-Fi Direct for printing from a mobile device without a network, and Epson Connect, which is a suite of mobile printing solutions designed to make it easier for users to print and scan photos, documents, e-mails and web pages from iPads, iPhones, tablets, and smartphones from anywhere.
