Kodak Monday announced the launch of its latest digital picture frame product. The Kodak Easyshare S730, which sports a built-in rechargeable battery and the company's new PictureFinder feature, launches in Europe this month and in the U.S. this September.
The new device includes such viewing options as full-screen slideshow and collage mode, as well as the new PictureFinder feature.
“Picture Finder allows consumers to retrieve and relive memories that in some cases may have been forgotten,” Kodak's Worldwide Director of Marketing, Digital Capture and Devices, Phil Scott, said as part of the announcement. When users see a compelling picture in the collage, they can select that picture, touch the Picture Finder control, and the frame automatically retrieves and displays more pictures from that date.”
The device has 1GB of internal memory (which can store up to 8000 pictures), as well as a mercury-free LCD panel and Easyshare digital display software.
The S730 will sell for $139 when it arrives in North America.
