Vienna, VA—Lucidiom added Aperion cards for consumers to purchase on retailers’ Photo Finale storefronts, adding 811 4×8-inch photo card designs to current offerings.
“What I love about this is that there is nothing the retailers have to do—they are free to offer and are already there and available for consumer purchase,” said Lucidiom president, Steve Giordano, Jr. “Plus, they are from Aperion—experts in this category.”
The set includes designs for baby, wedding, engagement, birthday, Halloween, new address, party, school, thank you, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year’s. Nearly half of the offerings fall under one of the winter holiday categories.
“We talk a lot about long-tail products and diversifying your product line, but that doesn’t mean you should forget about traditional print products,” Giordano added. “4x8s have been a traditionally strong-selling product, with Christmas themed cards topping the popularity list. In fact, 4×8 photo cards account for about 80% of our retailers’ card sales last holiday season. For consumers who traditionally do their annual holiday card as a 4×8, we have given them lots of new and varied design options. It’s a known product, demand is there, and it is easy for labs to print on their photo printers. For consumers looking to do something different or higher end for their annual card, we continue to grow the creative, higher margin product types, like folded cards and double-sided cards.”
Aperion cards are also available for installation on the Lucidiom APM photo kiosk, so retailers can offer the same products in-store as they do online.
