Jackson, MI—Excitement is mounting among framers as the clock ticks closer to the PPFA 2012 Annual Convention, Frame the Future, to be held January 29 to February 1, 2012, concurrent with the West Coast Art and Frame Trade Show and National Conference. Both will be held at the Mirage Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
“The colocation is generating a lot of buzz and excitement in the framing industry,” said Ken Link, PPFA president. “This is one of the most exciting times I’ve experienced since joining PPFA. We’ve themed the convention Frame the Future because this is the first step in a new direction for framers, suppliers, PPFA and the framing industry as a whole.”
Events include a Welcome to Vegas Reception and Vendor Showcase; PPFA International Framing Competition and Awards Presentation; All-Member Meeting & Luncheon with Service Awards and scholarship presentations; judging classes; certification exams and courses; and Chapter Leaders Conference.
Speakers Kirstie Bennett, Shirley Damon, Jared Davis, Fred Horton, David Lantrip, Rob Markoff, Joyce Michels, Jim Miller, Chris Paschke, Hugh Phibbs, Linda Pujo, Linda Wassell and Cliff Wilson will lead dynamic education sessions, eight of which meet the requirements for MCPF Continuing Education.
