Santa Rosa, CA—Think Tank Photo’s Airport series of travel-specific, high-capacity camera backpacks, designed for quickly maneuvering through airports, now includes the Airport Accelerator, Airport Commuter and Airport Essentials.
The backpacks feature integrated quick-access pockets for both laptops and iPads, a top pocket for boarding passes and three handles to ensure easy placement and retrieval from overhead bins. All three meet international carry-on size requirements, and the two smaller bags, the Airport Commuter and the Airport Essentials, are sized to fit under the seat in regional commuter planes.
The backpacks’ light, adjustable, contoured harness is designed to provide comfort along with lumbar support. The air mesh paneling keeps backs cool, while the height-adjustable sternum strap allows for the right fit. A removable waist belt, side water bottle pocket, tripod/monopod mounting system and seam-sealed rain cover extend their versatility.
All three can be used with Think Tank’s Pro Speed Belts for additional support and capacity by adding component pouches and cases from the company’s Modular Rotation Component system.

Airport Accelerator. Accommodating two pro-size DSLRs, six to eight standard zooms, a 500mm f/4.0, an iPad and a 17-inch laptop, it is the largest of the trio and has a padded removable waist belt. It has exterior dimensions of 14×20.5×9 inches.
Airport Commuter. This backpack fits a pro-size DSLR, four to six standard zooms, (increased depth holds a 400mm f/2.8), an iPad and 15-inch laptop. Its exterior dimensions are 12.5x18x 8.5 inches.
Airport Essentials. Holding a standard DSLR, four to six standard zooms, an iPad and a 13-inch laptop, it has exterior dimensions of 11.5x18x7 inches.
