Vancouver, Canada—Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Cotton Carrier announced the Cotton Carrier SlingBelt carrying system will soon ship.

Cotton Carrier SlingBelt Benefits
The advantage of the SlingBelt is its fixed-position carrying system. Moreover, the company’s patented Twist & Lock mount secures a camera or binoculars to your hip. Plus, you can add a second mount with a side holster. Moreover, one twist and your camera is quietly deployed. The SlingBelt comes in one size that fits up to a 54-inch waist.
In addition, if you want to access your camera faster, the included Sling Tether allows your camera to hang for instant shooting. Further, the system spreads the load across your body to alleviate weight on the neck and shoulders.
The Cotton Carrier SlingBelt carrying system supports DSLR, mirrorless as well as compact point-and-shoot cameras. The system starts with the SlingBelt. The ergonomically designed belt sits comfortably and distributes the weight of your gear to your hips.
Further, it features Cotton Carrier’s original, flat, “virtually indestructible,” friction-free, hard-anodized aluminum hub. Cameras are secured with a slotted hole to allow for slight adjustment to avoid blocking the battery door. A threaded hole on the hub also allows you to still use your tripod with the system.
In the Package
Bundled with the SlingBelt is a backup, high-impact rated Safety Tether. The Tether provides an extra level of security when using the harness. Cotton Carrier includes this added redundancy to give you peace of mind that your camera is always safe. The system also comes with the G3 weather cover for protection against the elements. The self-containing bag is weatherproof. There is 10 inches of clearance inside and it comes with an attachment clip. The package also includes mounting hardware, along with an Allen key.
The SlingBelt for one camera is currently on sale for $71.20 (regularly $89). The SlingBelt Carry system for two cameras has a suggested retail price of $119. Cotton Carrier is also offering optional system accessories. They include: the CCS hand strap 800CHG (no hardware) $10; a Lens Bucket & Dry Bag, $49; as well as the CCS hand strap 800CHG (no hardware) plus the Lens Bucket & Dry Bag, $59.
